Welcome,

My name is Peter Lowie, I was born on May 31, 1950 in the Netherlands.
During my high school years I got interested in photography, images and pictures.
After graduating from high school I went to the 'Fotovakschool' (Dutch Photo Acadamy). I finished the course and started to work in the graphic environment making reproductions for printing purposes. Three years later I went to Art studio v.d Busken to take care of photography (mostly on location) for book covers. Another three years later I worked for the University of Amsterdam to illustrate research and education matters. At this moment the University Hospital AMC. Current Projects: INTOP Nederland, Woonzorg Nederland, Dutch Reformed Church, Nederlandse Hartstichting, Diabetes Fund, World Healthcare Organizations, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Administrative Functions:

President of the Dutch Organization for Medical and Scientific Photography (NVMAC), President of the European Federation of the Scientific Image. Board member of the Fotografenfederatie Nederland, Member of Australian the DGPH Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Photographie, Member of the Royal Photographic Society (Great Britain) Liaison for the Australian AIMBI. Visiting Docent.
